A Bigger Boat
Despite being bereft of any worthwhile thematic content, this is still a cracking adventure story of men against the inexorable forces of nature.
The lack of dramatic depth is compensated for by sterling acting, very good writing and dramatic scenes that make this a character-driven story - which just happens to have a strong plot.
The characters make psychological sense and are clear and distinct from one another in a compelling update on An Enemy of the People and Moby-Dick - albeit without the depth of its forbears.
