A load of old imperialist rubbish really but awfully good fun. Robert POWELL is jolly good and offers a lot of deadpan humor to flesh-out his character. He is ably supported by the very good British character actors needed to overcome the rather incredible plot and the thin characterization.
The theme of protecting the UK former colonial possessions is well-disguised in favor of action-adventure and a slap-bang ending. Superior tosh. Apart from the humor, this is a serious version of Bullshot as well as an ironic take on Bulldog Drummond
