Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!
(2008)

60%

The charming and charismatic lead, Abhay DEOL, suits the character of a lucky and a cheeky car thief perfectly. Why buy it when you can steal it? is his motto, yet people cannot help trusting him.

Still, he wants to go straight without his sins eventually finding him out, which he finds difficult to impossible. The moral here is that thieves earn nothing through their own efforts – only by parasiting off the honest efforts of others - so they start with nothing and end up with it. In particular, they can have no respectful relations with women, no matter how good-looking they are because behind the charm lurks nothing.

This is an amusing enough if slight tale that is aided and abetted by Neetu CHANDRA as the thief's lover who vainly struggles to hide that love from him and from herself.

Führerprinzip:

One leader, one people, signifies one master and millions of slaves… There is no organ of conciliation or mediation interposed between the leader and the people, nothing in fact but the apparatus - in other words, the party - which is the emanation of the leader and the tool of his will to oppress. In this way the first and sole principle of this degraded form of mysticism is born, the Führerprinzip, which restores idolatry and a debased deity to the world of nihilism.
