Rich Human Drama

The uneven script quality of previous Seasons has largely vanished to be replaced by a consistently well-written string of episodes. The actors rise to the occasion and help make us realize - by the very quality of their performances - that the episode quality has improved.

The stories presented here deepen our understanding of the regular characters; making them more interesting and increasing our desire to get to know them better - thereby offering us greater insights into ourselves. Herein lies the essential reason for the popularity and success of the series as a whole - as well as the fact that the younger performers are getting older and maturing as the series does, so we follow their lives like our own; as if in real time.
